Missy's Inspiration

Missy was created based on our actual Golden Retriever named Dexter. He was such a wonderful family dog, and many of his personality traits are shown through Missy.

One of his main traits I included was that he never barked once, he always barked at least twice. As you read my stories, you'll notice that Missy tends to bark just twice - except for when she's really excited.
